Toronto After Dark 2015: DEATHGASM, LOVE & PEACE And TALES OF HALLOWEEN Lead First Wave
We are just over a month away from the annual gathering of Toronto's 'cinemaniacs'. the Toronto After Dark Film Festival! It is almost hard to believe that the festival is already celebrating it's ten year anniversary and we at ScreenAnarchy have been there from the very start (earlier if you count the time that TADFF founder Adam Lopez sat down with Todd and myself at the Imperial Pub the year before at TIFF). The festival announced the first wave of ten films playing at this year's festival. So what can the horde of 'cinemaniacs' expect so far this year? Check it out below.

Toronto After Dark Film Festival is thrilled to officially unveil its first wave of exciting film announcements for 2015! Included in the lineup are some of the most critically acclaimed and eagerly anticipated new horror, sci-fi, action and cult films from this year's international film festival circuit.  These 10 new movies will all have their Toronto, Canadian or International Theatrical Premieres hosted exclusively at the festival's 10th Annual Edition this October 15-23, 2015 at the Scotiabank Theatre, in the heart of downtown Toronto.

To start there is the awesome and brutal as fuck Kiwi horror comedy Deathgasm. You will get not one, but two Sono Sion films, Love & Peace and TAG. It would not be After Dark if there were not a timey wimey film so you will get Jacob Gentry's Synchronicity. If you are looking for the perfect primer to get you in the mood for Halloween then look no further than the horror anthology Tales of Halloween featuring shorts from filmmakers like Big Ass Spider's Mike Mendez, Doomsday's Neil Marshall and Saw's Darren Lynn Bousman.

If you are in the mood for love then the supernatural love triangle film Nina Forever offers up a twisted version. Those of you who like your fantastic cinema wrapped in bacon and drenched in maple syrup may like the Canadian offerings so far; The Demolisher and A Christmas Horror Story should suit your patriotic needs. Rounding off the first wave of ten titles is Lazer Team from YouTube webcasters Rooster Teeth and the horror comedy Patchwork

TADFF has put together a playlist of all the trailers, which you can watch below. See you after dark!
