The Many Faces Of Charlize Theron

Mad Max: Fury Road is putting the pedal to the metal in cinemas worldwide, and two things have become apparent. One: reviews so far are almost ridiculously positive. Two: everyone agrees Charlize Theron is awesome.

Thing number two shouldn't come exactly as a surprise though, for Charlize Theron has proven time and time again to be very versatile, in whatever a role calls for. And not just on the acting front either: she has been the bringer-of-action in several action films, instead of settling for the standard damsell-in-distress (or worse, the damsell-in-this-dress).

Even in the lesser films she's in, people tend to agree that she at least was good in it.

So once again I'm going to use fifteen pictures of one of my favourite thespians to make a quiz. Click through the images, and guess which movies (or shows) they're from. No competition, no prizes, just for fun, try to see how far you get without using IMDb!

And I'll post the answers next Thursday, or earlier if someone gets all fifteen of them right.

And here she is, being awesome as the rebellious Imperator Furiosa, in Mad Max: Fury Road.

This picture doesn't count yet for the quiz, but all others do. So please browse through the gallery: click on the edge of the picture to get the next one, and see how many of them all you can identify!

Alas, no.

ManateeAdvocateMay 16, 2015 11:54 AM

I'm betting it's A Million Ways to Die in the West. Looks like a rustic setting. I didn't see that film though.

ManateeAdvocateMay 16, 2015 11:55 AM

Is #4 maybe The Italian Job remake? I saw that so long ago.

God of JoyMay 17, 2015 12:40 AM

I can't remember the title, maybe someone else can, but I think #9 is from the PeterSellers bio pic with Geoffrey Rush?

And is 11 from Head in the Clouds?

Ard VijnMay 17, 2015 4:45 AM

Number 11 is not HEAD IN THE CLOUDS, but I'll count number 9 as THE LIFE AND DEATH OF PETER SELLERS.

That just leaves 1, 7, 11 and 13...
