The Many Faces Of Forest Whitaker

This week, Liam Neeson isn't taking it any more, again, in Taken 3. James saw the film and wasn't amused much, but that doesn't take away from the fine actors in it of course. Time for a quiz about Liam, you'd think, but... we already did that last year. So let's take another intriguing actor from this particular cast-list: Forest Whitaker!

It's a bit odd to call this article really a "The Many Faces Of..." as Forest Whitaker is so incredibly recognizable. I mean, even when he dresses up as an alien with 30 pounds of make-up on, you'll still say "hey, that's the guy from...". Nevertheless, he has an uncanny knack for disappearing into roles when necessary. For a while it seemed as if he was working with every interesting indie director in the world at the same time, and his chosen roles can clearly be divided into either "daring" or "easy paycheck".

But whichever it is, good movie or bad, if Forest Whitaker is in it he will never be its weak link.
