The Many Faces Of Liam Neeson

At 61 years of age, you'd expect Liam Neeson to earn his money in serious acting dramas, picking up some extra cash with an action-y cameo or two in the next Expendables film. However, his output of the last few years shows him to have become an incredibly reliable action star in his own right, one of the few people able to lure an audience into a cinema on the sole promise of seeing him kick ass.

It's an amazing stage in his movie career, which saw him often used as a brutish lout early on, then typecast for years as a suave gentleman, and currently as a believable action man. It helps that he still looks the part of a killing giant, while also being able to radiate a soft-spoken nobility, intelligence, and even tenderness, when needed. A good actor, and always watchable, he often elevates the film he's in to a higher level.
