First Trailer: LIFE ITSELF, Roger Ebert Doc
"Truly remarkable" is how our own Jason Gorber described Life Itself, a documentary about film critic Roger Ebert that has been warmly received since it debuted at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.

Directed by Steve James, Life Itself tracks the career of the Pulitzer Prize-winner, his ups and downs, his competitive relationship with fellow film critic Gene Shalit, and his battle with the disease that ultimately took his life. It's heading to select theaters in the U.S. on July 4, when it will also be available to watch via various Video On Demand platforms.

The first trailer has been released, featuring the aforementioned quote by Mr. Gorber, and it's quite a good appetizer. Check it out below.
