Luc Besson's THE LADY Is Torn Between Family And Country In Second Trailer
As the release date approach near, Europacorp has unveiled a second trailer and two clips for Luc Besson's Aung San Suu Kyi biopic The Lady with Michelle Yeoh in the lead role that have audience at the AFI Fest 2011 hailing her performance as Oscar-worthy and marks a return to form for Besson.  A moving scene shown in the clip with David Thewlis as the husband is truly powerful.
The Lady is an epic love story about how an extraordinary couple and family sacrifice their happiness at great human cost for a higher cause. This is the story of Aung San Suu Kyi and her husband, Michael Aris. Despite distance, long separations, and a dangerously hostile regime, their love endures until the very end. A story of devotion and human understanding set against a background of political turmoil which continues today. The Lady also is the story of the peaceful quest of the woman who is at the core of Burma's democracy movement.
The theatrical release date in France is on November 30th. You'll find the second trailer and two clips embedded below.
