Have Your Say: Who'd Make Best Movie Buddies?
This week, Shane Black's buddie-thriller The Nice Guys is premiering wide, and as Jason Gorber said in his review, the main reason to go see it is the very successful pairing-up of Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe. Their chemistry is what would make or break this buddie-film, and luckily for all involved these two turned out to be great movie buddies.

Plenty of movies exist where two actors are thrown together and it just doesn't work out, no matter how talented the actors. Sometimes that little magical something we call "chemistry" is missing, yet sometimes it's there in spades with people you'd never expect.

So our question of the week is: who would YOU team up as buddies in a movie? What pairing do you think would work? Create your own dream team (or nightmare team), and everyone is allowed: past, present, alive, dead...

Chime in, in the comments below, and HAVE YOUR SAY!

Bono and a bag of medical waste.
I'm sorry, I know that's ridiculously off-topic, but I would genuinely like to see them two bonding.

a hypothetical pairing that i think would be Dynamitely Amazing to see together is Marlon Brando and Joaquin Phoenix.
--
..maybe it's (just) me. but i see Severe, (near) Uncanny similarities in their acting styles and methodologies.
*i think that - what one actor starred in, the other would be a glove like fit for that role...; and visa versa.

...i've often thought what Phoenix could do with On the Waterfront.
quite frankly, musing what he could do, with "...i could ah been a contendahh.." - gives me SHIVERS as i type this..

...conversely, ... .(and) similarly, *ouch*; i think plunking Brando into The Master would come up nothing short of a royal flush.

Bruce Lee and Donnie Yen naturally.
