The Many Faces Of Kurt Russell

While I was looking through this week's premieres to find a likely candidate for the quiz, my eye fell on the Blu-ray releases, and spotted The Hateful Eight (see J. Hurtado's review). Which means that cinema releases this week be damned, cast-wise, as Tarantino's latest just outshines nearly everything else on that front. Hell, we almost had to toss a coin to pick one of the great actors we hadn't featured yet. And in the end we chose Kurt Russell.

I don't need to explain this one, do I? Five decades of career-awesomeness (well, four of those at least...) should speak for themselves.

So once again I'm going to use sixteen pictures of one of my favourite thespians to make a quiz. Click through the images, and guess which movies or shows they're from. No competition, no prizes, just for fun, try to see how far you get without using IMDb!

And I'll post the answers next Thursday, or earlier if someone gets all of them right...

And here he is, as John "The Hangman" Ruth, in The Hateful Eight.

This one doesn't count yet for the quiz, but all others do, so please browse through the gallery: click on the edge of the picture to get the next one, and see how many of them all you can identify!

Man, Kurt Russell really is one of the best...Hell of a nice guy too. Met him in a wine bar next door to a friend's wedding. Same place I met Emilio Estevez in fact. Not bragging, just humbled as a cinephile.

Kurt Russell only has one face and it is awesome. I may be wrong but it seems to me that he is satisfied to act in films that are relevant to the times and earn a comfortable living as a thespian.
