Scarlett Johansson Touted For Live-Action GHOST IN THE SHELL
It was previously reported that The Wolf Of Wall Street's Margot Robbie was in talks to star in the upcoming live-action adaptation of influential Japanese anime Ghost In The Shell. Deadline has now reported that Robbie is no longer up for the role as she is being lined up for Suicide Squad and that Dreamworks has offered US$ 10 million for Lucy and The Avengers star Scarlett Johansson to play the lead in the film.
Rupert Sanders (Snow White And The Huntsman) will be directing and the script is written by William Wheeler (The Hoax, The Reluctant Fundamentalist).
Plans are to shoot the film in 3D.
