THE RAMBLER Wins At Transylvania's Full Moon Horror And Fantasy Film Festival!
Word out of the land of Dracula is that Calvin Lee Reeder's The Rambler has won the Jury Award at the 2nd annual Full Moon Horror and Fantasy Film Festival. Below is the press release provided to us by juror Christian Hallman who remained bite-free throughout throughout the deliberation process.

The films in competition this year were: The Forgotten (Alex Schmidt, Germany), Safety Not Guaranteed (Colin Trevorrow, US), The Rambler (Calvin Reeder, US), Berberian Sound Studio (Peter Strickland, UK), Cannon Fodder (Ethan Gafny, Israel), Come out and Play (Makinov, Mexico) and Citadel (Ciaran Foy, Ireland).

The jury of the 2nd Edition of the Full Moon Horror and Fantasy Film Festival in Transylvania consisted of Christian Hallman (Filmmaker, program co-director LIFFF, Coordinator Melies.org), Kristina Buozyte (Director Vanishing Waves), and Tomaz Horvat (Program Director Grossmann Fantastic Film & Wine Festival).

Special Mention to a very personal film set in a claustrophobic urban surrounding, which successfully manages to transfer the real life fears of its director as well as the darker side of modern society into the heart of the audience. The Special Mention goes to Ciaran Foy's CITADEL.

And the 2013 Full Moon Horror and Fantasy Film Festival Jury Award for Best Feature Film goes to a film which explores the unknown and takes its audience on a mysterious, dark and unpredictable journey. A film that is intellectual in its complexity, with a bold vision, set in its own unique universe. The 2013 Full Moon Horror and Fantasy Film Festival Jury Award for Best Feature Film goes to CALVIN LEE REEDER's THE RAMBLER.

Audience award for Best Feature Film went to SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED (Colin Trevorrow, US), and Audience award for Best Short Film went to SLEEP-WORKING (Gavin Williams, UK)

The 2nd edition of Full Moon Horror and Fantasy Film Festival started August 14th and will end tomorrow on August 18th, with Lords of Salem as its closing film. The festival takes place in the city of Biertan, Transylvania.

Congrats to all the winners!
