Jodie Foster Joins The Cast Of Neill Blomkamp's ELYSIUM

The last time a high profile science fiction film attracted this level of talent without anyone having any idea what it would actually be about the result was Christopher Nolan's Inception. Though, that said, the last time Jodie Foster did scifi the result was Contact. So we'll call that a wash.

The District 9 writer director has added a third big name star to his upcoming sophomore film, with word that Foster has now joined Matt Damon and District 9 star Sharlto Copley in the cast. All that we really know beyond that is that the film will be set in the far future, on another planet, and will once again blend social critique into its stew of scifi action. Beyond that Blomkamp aint saying a thing.
