The Creators Of TAKEN Return With COLOMBIANA
After scoring a monstrous - and unexpected - worldwide hit with Taken I am honestly surprised that it has taken Luc Besson two years to launch another project with co-writer Robert Mark Kamen. But the duo are at it again with Transporter 3 director Olivier Megaton at the helm and Avatar's Zoe Saldana in the lead. The film is Colombiana.

Colombiana is an action-packed international tale of a young girl unwillingly thrown into a world of brutality, and ultimately, vengeance. Cataleya Restrepo witnesses the brutal murder of her parents at the hands of vicious Colombian crime Lord, Don Luis when she is only 10 years old. Cataleya manages to escape the assassin's bullets and find her way to Chicago to the safety of her uncle Emilio. Emilio tries to steer Cataleya away from a life of crime, but she is determined to become a professional killer, find Don Luis, and avenge the death of her parents.

After the massive box-office smash Taken, Luc Besson and co-writer Robert Mark Kamen have scripted another sensational thriller that stars Avatar's Zoe Saldana as a steely-eyed assassin on the trail of her parents' killers. The fabulous international cast also features Michael Vartan (Alias, Never Been Kissed), Jordi Molla (Knight and Day, Che), Cliff Curtis (The Last Airbender, Live Free or Die Hard) and Lennie James (Tic, Snatch). Olivier Megaton (Transporter 3) directs.
