UK revives "The Transformers"

The film, starring Judd Nelson, and Orson Welles is one of the first incarnations of the Transformers franchise with a much more mature atmosphere surrounding it. The US recently experienced a special edition DVD release of the film, and Metrodome is topping themselves off yet again.

Filming has now begun in Schreveport, LA, with Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, who wrote the original "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle," directing the follow-up from their original script. I look forward to more weed induced adventures and hijinks.

Hoskins faces 'Doomsday'

Hoskins has been cast as a police officer who will monitor the team’s progress, while being led by the lovely Rhona Mitra. Also featured are Alexander Siddig and Adrian Lester, Sean Pertwee, Darren Morfitt, Emma Cleasby, Chris Robson, MyAnna Buring, Nora-Jane Noone, Leslie Simpson and Craig Conway. "Doomsday" is being released by the Rogue Pictures banner, in association with Inteprid Pictures, and Crystal Sky Pictures producing. No solid release date has yet been set, but we will keep you posted.

To make it worse, news has arrived that the sequel "Day Watch," has currently broken Box Office Records in its home land grossing over $34 million since its January 1st 2006 premiere. The gross has surpassed the record grossing of the Afghan War epic "9th Company" which grossed $26 Million.
