Watch The Riveting New Trailer For '71, Yann Demange's Troubles-Era Thriller

Yann Demange's breakout film '71 will participate in Spotlight Section of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. It will open in cinemas in the U.S. on February 27th. Yahoo debuted an exclusive trailer for the thriller set during the time of The Troubles in Ireland in 1971.

'71 takes place over a single night in the life of a young British soldier (Jack O'Connell) accidentally abandoned by his unit following a riot on the streets of Belfast in 1971. Unable to tell friend from foe, and increasingly wary of his own comrades, he must survive the night alone and find his way to safety through a disorientating, alien and deadly landscape.

Starred Up star Jack O'Connell is going to have a very good finish to 2014 and start to 2015. He takes the lead in Angelina Jolie's WWII drama Unbroken on Christmas Day then '71 in February. It he is not on your radar now he will be over the next couple months.  Watch the trailer below.
