The Many Faces Of Ed Harris
This week, Planes: Fire & Rescue is released by I-Can't-Believe-It's-Not-Pixar, and Ed Harris is attached as voice-actor. Therefore, this week's installment of our quiz is all about Ed.
It's ironic to see, whoops, hear him as a voice actor, even if it's not for the first time. For Ed Harris is probably best known for looking strong, confident, the stereotypical American hero or Aryan villain, provided what the script calls for.
That would be selling him short, though, because he is a fine, fine actor indeed, and not afraid to experiment with unusual character parts. Not all of these are successful, but more often than not Ed Harris turns out to be the most reliably good thing about the films he's in.
So once again I'm going to use eight close-ups of one of my favourite thespians to make a quiz. Click through the images and guess which eight movies they're from. No competition, no prizes, just for fun. Try to see how far you get without using IMDb.
