Get Behind The Scenes Of Jackie Chan's CHINESE ZODIAC In Paris
Mtime posted the first behind-the-scenes video for Jackie Chan's directed/produced/writtened action adventure film Chinese Zodiac (aka CZ12). The video focus on the shooting location of Paris at the Château de Chantilly, featuring some fight scenes and even some amusing snippets of Jackie clowning around at the set.  It seems one of the set-piece in the film involves him scaling the historical building with amazing agility.

In his "last big action" film, Jackie plays a treasure hunter embarking on a globe-trotting mission to recover a set of bronze heads of the animals from the Chinese zodiac. The international cast include Oliver Platt (X-Men: First Class), musician Kenny G, Kwone Sang Woo (Once Upon a Time in High School), Laura Weissbecker, Yao Xing Tong, Liao Fan, Zhang Lan Xin and Steve Yoo Seung Jun.

On a related note, Jackie recently attended the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con at the Chinese Zodiac panel that features a screening of the trailer and a Q&A session with the cast & crew.  He talks how the passion project was the most challenging he ever worked on lately and this is a throwback to his earlier martial arts films with slapstick comedy, use of props and risky practical stuntwork without the assistance of green screen or stunt doubles.  On the question of possibly appearing in The Expendables 2, Sylvester Stallone did approached him but the action star was already too busy working on this project.

The release date is on December 12th in IMAX theaters. You'll find the 5-minute behind-the-scenes video embedded below.
