Despite Transformers: Dark of the Moon receiving mixed reviews with some critics dismissing the Michael Bay film as mindless blockbuster garbage, there is no denying the visual effects were spectacular and the CG artists that worked on these mind-blowing shots deserved recognition. After winning two awards in the category, "Outstanding Created Environment in a Live Action Feature Motion Picture" and "Outstanding Models in a Feature Motion Picture" at the 10th annual Visual Effects Society Awards, Digital Domain and Industrial Light & Magic has uploaded on their respected Youtube channel a video that shows the process of bringing the robots to life. Its truly an impressive piece of work.
