Soderbergh Swallows THE BITTER PILL

Remember when Steven Soderbergh was talking retirement? Yeah, not so much any more.Fresh from walking away from the big screen version of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. over budget and casting issues Soderbergh and screenwriter Scott Z Burns are already out shopping a new project titled The Bitter Pill.

Very little is known about this one other than that it is a thriller set in the world of big pharmacy - psychopharmacology, to be specific - a big money, high stakes business that I'm surprised has never gotten this treatment before. Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Gregory Jacobs will produce with the project now fielding bids from multiple studios.
