It's Official: Martin Freeman Is Bilbo Baggins In THE HOBBIT

Finally, some good news from The Hobbit. The first volley of casting has been announced and while most of the parts are given over to UK TV actors the film has landed the Bilbo everybody wanted. Martin Freeman - Arthur Dent in The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy - is now officially Bilbo Baggins. Here's the rest of the casting announced at The One Ring:
