HISSS Slithers Into Theaters This October 15th

After almost 18 months of relative sssilence, Hisss has been making a lot of noise lately.  The producers, Venus Tapes, have cut a few juicy international trailers and star Mallika Sherawat has taken to Twitter and Facebook like a fish to water with images and juicy/suggestive tidbits about the film.  However, if you're like me, there were two questions left unanswered: when and where?

We finally have answers for those crucial questions.  Jennifer Lynch's Bollywood tinged creature feature hits screens globally on October 15th.  I don't know how much of our readership is familiar with the Indian film release model, but you probably won't see this at your local megaplex or even your local arthouse theater.  South Asian films release to South Asian theaters almost exclusively, unless you are in an area heavily populated with South Asians, like I am, in which case you might find it occupying a screen at a local megaplex.  Check for a local theater using a website like Sulekha, and you might be surprised what you find. 

Good luck finding the film locally, if you don't you can be sure we'll give you the why's and wherefore's of seeing this film more easily as soon as we have a good grasp on them.

In the meantime, enjoy some newly released production photos.  Not much Mallika this time around, I'm afraid, but I think the photos show that there may be more to see in this movie than just her!
