Poster for Gilliam's Tideland!

Terry Gilliam is such an insanely snake-bitten director that I've adopted a 'don't believe it until there's something tangible' approach to all the rumors around his work. Well, Tideland's got something tangible, namely a teaser poster. There's absolutely no way that will be the final mass market shot - can you imagine seeing that on bus shelters around the city? - but it's pretty sweet in a twisted, Terry Gilliam sort of way ... you can see a larger, higher res version here.

Now if only Bob Weinstein would remove his head from his rectum and put the completed Brothers Grimm into theaters ...
