DARK/WEB Series to Explore the Dangers of the Digital Age

The creators of the cult horror film Circle are launching a new anthology series called Dark/Web, which will focus on the chaos and dangers of our connected world. Each episode will consist of a portion of the serialized tale and a stand-alone science fiction or horror short centered around technological themes.

The "wrap-around" of the eight-episode series revolves around the mysterious disappearance of a young cyber-security analyst and the trail of stories she leaves behind for her friends to unravel.

Among others, Dark/Web stars Nicholas Brendon (Buffy The Vampire Slayer), Brian Elerding, Lana McKissack, Sibongile Mlambo, Michael Nardelli, Rene Heger, Noemi Gonzalez, and Siobhan Fallon Hogan.

Roxy Shih will direct the serialized segments of the series, with the stand-alone segments to be written and directed by different filmmakers including Zelda Williams and producer Joshua Thurston, Boman Modine
, Mario Miscione, Michael Nardelli and Christopher Webster.

Autumn Federici is producing along with Miscione and Tim Nardelli
.

Dark/Web will premiere winter 2017, exclusively on LRMOnline.com

[Full disclosure: I wrote an episode of this series.]
