THR's Heat Vision Blog is reporting that Elizabeth Banks will play the villain, Rita Repulsa, in the upcoming Power Rangers movie. She was originally portrayed by Japanese actress Soga Machiko in the Japanese series that found its way onto our shores back in the 90s.
In no way does my crush on Elizabeth Banks have anything to do with this opinion. Nope. Not at all.
