ScreenAnarchy Presents: THE UNAUTHORIZED HAGIOGRAPHY OF VINCENT PRICE
Today marks the 104th birthday of Vincent Price.

To celebrate, ScreenAnarchy offers* this magnificent short-film-fantasia which was produced in 2014 for Toronto's Nuit Blanche art exhibition by TIFF programmer and film archivist Colin Geddes (Midnight Madness, Vanguard programmes) whilst meticulously imagined and constructed by editor Mike Lane.

This artfully unhinged alternate-world history of icon Vincent Price is fabricated completely though the editing of film clips, audio, television and other media for no other purpose than to further mythologize one of the most unique actors to ever grace movie screens of all varieties, from the cinema to the drive-in to the grindhouse.

This is not the objective truth of the details of Price's life, this is the imaginative truth of our celluloid dreams. Gather 'round children and:

SEE!!! ...the real Vincent condemning witches to death and raising ex-lovers from the tomb!

FEEL!!! ...Vincent dabbling with LSD in the swinging sixties and TRIPPING OUT!

HEAR!!! ...Gourmet recipes! Sweet zombie Jesus, the recipes!

Enjoy.  *For a limited time only!  In one week, this will head off into the ether.
