Remember all the hand wringing not so long ago when David Lynch announced he was stepping away from the revised
Twin Peaks? Yeah, not so much any more. Not only is Lynch back on board, but original stars Sheryl Lee and Sherilyn Fenn spilled the news at a Crypticon panel in Seattle that Showtime has now doubled the original episode order from 9 to 18, that Lynch is currently on board to direct them all, that original composer Angelo Badalamenti is also back on board and Twede's Cafe in North Bend, WA - the original Double R Diner - is currently undergoing restoration / renovation to once again serve as the purveyor of the show's damn fine coffee.
So, to recap: More
Peaks. More Lynch. More Badalamenti. Original locations.
Production is scheduled to begin in September. I need some pie.
