Giveaway: IDA - Win 1 Of 5 Codes To Download Critically-Acclaimed Film

(Note: the giveaway is now closed.) Pawel Pawlikowski's movie about a young nun in the 1960s who makes a shocking discovery that changes her life, Ida has won near-unanimous praise from critics and audiences alike, and we have a chance for U.S. residents to download a very legal copy of their very own via iTunes.

As our own Patryk Czekaj wrote in his review:

To make a long story short, coming back to what I said at the beginning, I honestly think that Ida proves to be a truly rare find and it should be treated with utmost care. Although Pawel Pawlikowski's film has slight religious and historical overtones, the ones that Polish viewers got used to over the course of years, it doesn't use them to narrate the story, they're just specific instruments that create the background of a more complex and compelling storyline.

And, as Dustin Chang added:

Ida is one of those quiet, artfully crafted little masterpieces that goes unnoticed in the dead of the spring movie season. I haven't seen anything this year that is lovelier.

Now is your chance to catch up; it will be available via various Video On Demand platforms, as well as iTunes, starting today, Tuesday, September 9. If you're interested in a copy without cost, read on.

Note: the giveaway is now closed. Thanks to all who entered!

As noted, this giveaway is for U.S. residents only, and is only available via iTunes. So if you're good with that, please send us an email with your name, and confirm that you are a U.S. resident and that you want to watch a superb Polish film. We'll select five people at random from entries received by 11:59 p.m. E.S.T. on Thursday, September 11, 2014.
