EXCLUSIVE! ETERNITY: THE MOVIE, The Music Video That Wants To Make Love, Not Just Sex
Oh the 80s. For a while there anyone who grew up in them pretty much skipped that decade during conversation. "The 70s were so awesome and funky and then Smells Like Teen Spirit came along in '91 and EVERYTHING CHANGED AND GOT LOUDER!" "Woah woah woah there, Pickle. What about the 80s?" "Hm? Well, yeah, they were there. But no one talks about them".

Well, we are about to "wake you up before you go go" about your day. We have your first look and the 80s musi-comedy Eternity: The Movie which will open in select cinemas in the U.S. and Canada mid-October.

80's cult musi-comedy ETERNITY: THE MOVIE  kicks off awesome campaign with official 80's music video; announces theatrical release dates

Toronto-  Ahead of it's Los Angeles festival premiere at OUTFEST on July 10th, and in time for WorldPride in Toronto, the totally awesome 80's musi-comedy ETERNITY: THE MOVIE, officially kicks off a months long theatrical marketing campaign with the release of a music video for one of the films original music tracks from the film, MAKE LOVE, NOT JUST SEX.

The film features performances from a a mix of rising stars like Singer/Actor Barrett Crake (Last seen in festival fave BRUNO AND EARLINE GO TO VEGAS), Myko Olivier (TV's Castle) and cult faces John Gries (Napoleon Dynamite, Real Genius, The Monster Squad), Martin Kove (The Karate Kid) and Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts.

The film is slated for a North American wide theatrical release via VFRPR, opening October 17th in New York, Toronto, Ottawa and Los Angeles October 24th and additional markets beginning October 31st.

Below we have your first look at the parody music video from one of the original songs Make Love, Not Just Sex. There are a lot of visual references to bands like Hall and Oates and Wham. I am sure there are others but I am still coming to terms with the decade myself so I only picked out a couple. But it is a really entertaining video with some funny lyrics.

Oh, and saxophones. No 80s music video would be complete without a sax solo. Sax players must have really pulled in the 80s. We also have a number of exclusive stills to share with you as well!

Regrettable fashion, synthesized riffs, and power ballads dominate the 1985 music scene. That's when Todd Lucas, a young and talented musician moves to Los Angeles in hopes of making it big. Searching for someone to share his passion for smooth R&B music, Todd meets up with BJ Fairchild, a cocky loner who is convinced his life is more glamorous than it is.

The two musicians have big dreams but little future until their best friend Gina Marie gets them the break of a lifetime. Fate brings them together, love tears them apart, and their songs of heartbreak and loss redefine their genre. Todd and BJ epitomize the awkwardness of an era while becoming R&B's most mediocre duo... Eternity.
