Morelia 2013 Presents Its Official Mexican Selection
The Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) 2013, arguably Mexico's most important, will be celebrated from October 18 to 27. The first big announcement of the festival has just been made, with the official selection of Mexican films. There are four different categories in the Mexico section: feature length film, documentary, short film and films from Michoacán. Eleven feature length movies will be presented, including the works of such directors as Fernando Eimbcke (known for Duck Season), Michel Franco (director of After Lucia), Diego Quemada-Diez (his film was also part of Cannes 2013) and David Pablos (an emerging filmmaker from the CCC).
