EURO BEAT: IRON SKY Video Game Invades, Shia LaBeouf Talks Real Sex in Lars von Trier's NYMPHOMANIAC

Moon Nazis are not only coming to theaters, but now also to video game consoles. German games publisher Topware Interactive has announced that it plans to release a playable adaptation of the the Sci-Fi-space-Nazi-Action-Comedy Iron Sky this November. But Wolfenstein in Space it ain't -- the game will apparently focus on the intergalactic battle portion of the film, with players choosing to either pilot the ships defending earth, or the Nazi spaceships invading it. Does that second option sound a bit awkward to anyone else?

In any case, the game will be available for Mac, PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, and will apparently be released in both a standard edition and a more-expensive "Gotterdammerung" edition. Time will tell what that actually means. They've also tapped the film's visual effects supervisor Samuli Torssonen to provide the effects for the game.

Meanwhile, Shia LaBeouf has apparently signed onto Lars von Trier's upcoming, two part chronicle of a "woman's erotic journey," Nymphomaniac. Since then, he has confirmed what most people probably already knew: that the sex in the movie will be real. Well, except in that censored version. 

According to LaBeouf, "There's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we're doing it for real. Everything that is illegal, we'll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening." I like the crack about "everything that is illegal" -- I imagine von Trier probably wrote that note with the same smile on his face as when he added the "misogyny consultant" in the credits to Antichrist.

Speaking of actors who don't seem to have publicists writing their scripts these days, Gérard Depardieu is back in a minor spotlight for something besides acting. A motorist has apparently filed a complaint that Depardieu punched him after the motorist struck the French icon and his scooter with a car.

Depardieu said in an interview with RTL radio, "It was more a case of fear than anything else. My reaction was a bit over the top but I was very, very scared." Apparently during the police interview about the incident, Depardieu said he wanted to file a counter-complaint against the driver. We'll see if his buddy Sarkozy can help him out with this one now that he's no longer president. 

At the European box office, The Dark Knight Rises is cooling down and Ted is heating up! The talking-teddy-bear-gross-out comedy has taken the top spot from Batman in Germany, Austria and the UK. On an interesting sidenote, Prometheus just opened in Germany and Austria and still didn't manage to top Ted, which is in its second week. Meanwhile, in France and Spain, Brave took the top spot with $2.8 million. But perhaps the biggest success in France was Step Up Revolution, which finished with a whopping $7,756 per screen average, which means it made almost as much as The Dark Knight Rises and Brave on half the screens. This is most likely because the French title for the movie is Sexy Dance 4. In local news, the Swedish crime thriller Easy Money 2 knocked out both The Dark Knight Rises and Total Recall in its native country, taking in around $1.5 million.
