Kevin Smith Hits The Road With BINDLESTIFFS June 12th, Exclusive Clip Within

Indie comedy Bindlestiffs was a surprise hit at Slamdance - where it took home the Audience Award - the low budget, boys behaving badly, foul mouthed comedy being the sort of thing that has been out of vogue within the film industry since one Kevin Smith burst on to the scene as the purveyor of exactly this sort of thing.

And so it makes fantastic sense that Bindlestiffs has ended up being the first film to release under the new Kevin Smith's Smodcast Pictures Presents label.

Three high school virgins, suspended from school on a graffiti charge, flee to the city to live out the plot of The Catcher in the Rye. The story unfolds as they surrender their virginities to hobos, prostitutes and crack fiends.

Bindlestiffs hit VOD nationwide on June 19th but prior to that Smith will be hitting the road with the filmmakers for a touring roadshow of theatrical screenings that will include live Q&A with Smith and the filmmakers following each screening.
