Abbie Cornish looks to be the latest to join the cast of the Jose Padilha directed remake of RoboCop, the actress now in negotiations to play the female lead opposite Joel Kinnaman, Samuel L Jackson and Gary Oldman.
Deadline reports that Cornish will play the wife of Kinnaman's Alex Murphy, a woman who believes herself a widow when her critically injured husband is rebuilt into a crime fighting cyborg.
