Quentin Dupieux's WRONG COPS Arrest The Internet May 24th

Rubber and Wrong director Quentin Dupieux is sending his Wrong Cops to arrest the internet on May 24th. That would be the day that the cult director premieres the first chunk of his proposed Marilyn Manson starring feature film in Cannes, at which point it will also be available for free online. Quentin Dupieux's "WRONG COPS chapter one" starring Marilyn Manson and Marc Burnham will premiere on May 24, 2012 at the Cannes Film Festival in The Director's Fortnight Section and online worldwide the same day at www.wrongcops.com  , at canalplus.fr , and as a free podcast on itunes.

 

FACT #1 
WRONG COPS will be Quentin DUPIEUX's third movie produced by Gregory Bernard's REALITISM FILMS, in partnership with Canal Plus and Arte.  It is a filthy 90-minute comedy about some disturbed cops, set against a pre-apocalyptic vintage LA background. It is not a sequel to "WRONG".  Quentin Dupieux is just lazy with titles.

 

FACT #2 
The short film "WRONG COPS chapter one" (13 minutes), starring Marilyn Manson and Marc Burnham, will premiere at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival in the Director's Fortnight section on May 24th at 2 :30 pm.

"WRONG COPS" Producer Gregory Bernard, of Réalitism Films, is attending the 2012 Cannes Film Festival seeking financing for the remaining six chapters of "WRONG COPS", for which Kinology is handling pre-sales. The full-length feature film is scheduled to complete production in 2012.
