Second Teaser For Dark Norwegian Folktale THALE
It was exactly a year ago today that we brought the first teaser for Thale, Aleksander Nordaas' upcoming feature film about around the mythology of the Nordic wood spirit known as the huldra.
A seductive forest spirit who appears from the front to be a beautiful young woman but who also has a cow's tale and whose back appears to be like a hollowed out tree, the huldra has been known to offer rewards to those who satisfy them sexually and death to those who fail to do so. They are also prone to stealing human babies.
Nordaas' take on the legend promises to be a very realistic one and though it has taken a while to see the film through to completion - a fact of life when making something like this purely independently - the film now has a February release date in Norway and a brand new teaser to go a long with it.
