Kim Bodnia And Ewen Bremner Face A Serial Killer, The Black Death And Trolls In THE VEIL OF TWILIGHT

Paul Magnus Lundo's The Veil Of Twilight made news for all the wrong reasons at the end of November when tragedy struck the independent Norwegian production. Hoping to capture dramatic ocean footage as a storm rolled through three members of the crew were washed out to sea and though one made it safely back to shore, two - producer Daniel Henrriksbo and member of the camera crew Mats Bjarg - did not.

Production halted briefly following the tragic event but with the film close to completion and the cast and crew remaining dedicated to the project Lundo is now wrapping final photography and has been good enough to share an impressive gallery of stills with ScreenAnarchy.

Ewen Bremner (Trainspotting), Kim Bodnia (Pusher) and Jorgen Langhelle (The Thing) star in the period set thriller revolving around the investigation into a series of murders in a village ravaged by both the Black Plague and mountain trolls. Yes, you read that right: a serial killer, the Black Plague and mountain trolls in the same film.

In medieval Europe, fallen under the shadow of the Black Death, a young lawyer called Vilhelm is returning to Norway to outlive the plague at his brother's remote farm. When he arrives he learns that his brother has been accused for a series of mystic murders and dealing with trolls. Vilhelm doesn't believe in trolls or the accusations and decides to investigate the murders to save his brother. Torn between reason, fear and faith, Vilhelm journeys into the Norwegian mountains to find the truth.
