Indomina Releases Poster & US Trailer For TRUE LEGEND
Indomina Releasing are slowly but surely earning my trust.  Last week, they introduced the first one-sheet for Yuen Woo Ping's martial arts fantasy, True Legend, the first of their many acquisitions to see theatrical release.  Just today, they released the first trailer.

I like it.

One thing that seems to be evident to me with these first tidbits coming out to the press is that Indomina has a very focused marketing department.  The trailer and the poster share a similar artistic sensibility.  I like that, it gives me confidence that these films will be treated properly.  As you probably know, I, and many others, have been wary so far of Indomina following their long quiet spell after acquiring many high profile Asian and other independent titles.  This worry is beginning to dissipate.

I will say, I'm not completely won over yet, but this kind of clarity of purpose gives me hope.

You can find the poster above, and the video is being hosted at Apple's Movie Trailer site, which means you have to follow a link.

Go for it, its a pretty cool trailer!

Exactly...was worried at first when they were just sitting on stuff but now i like the look of what they're doing....

Love the retro feel of the poster, it just needs a World northall logo and a dogy tagline ala DIRTY HO: You haven't lived until you've fought Dirty Ho, and then you're dead!

And the trailer works so well

Just wish someone at indomina would answer whenever i send them a mail ref special features etc for their DVDS etc

This is great. I was also skeptical on how (when?!) they were going to release the plethora of films they acquired in the past year. But after watching the latest developments I am feeling more confident that the people at Indomina know what they're doing.

If this is a sign of things to come, I'm happy!

Too bad the film was a disappointment.

I have a mac and every time I try to watch a trailer I get an error from DivX, and the video won't play. Why would my mac use DivX instead of quicktime to play a video at the APPLE site!?

Wow, this looks incredible. Reminds me of how much I loved "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" when it came out, and can't wait to see this!
