Ultraman producers Tsuburaya Productions have been engaged in a continuous game of one-upmanship over their previous handful of Ultraman films, each entry in the long running series of films being bigger and more extravagant than the last. And that cycle has culminated in Ultraman Zero and a full-on galactic war being waged between a corps of good Ultramen and the evil Ultraman turned would-be Galactic Emperor Belial and his planet crushing space station.
