Jang Dong-gun unveils 'The Warriors Way' [워리어스 웨이] at Pusan.
Lead actor Jang Dong-gun unveiled an 8-minute clip from the upcoming Guksu Western [something I've made up on the fly; Guksu is Korean for Noodle and trying to make a clever association with Spaghetti Western] The Warriors Way at the Pusan International Film Festival along with director Sngmoo Lee and producer Barry Osborne.

"I wanted to create visual images of a fantasy through the clothing design and action scenes", said the director, whose vision included elegant sword fights and rampant gunplay. He added that he borrowed and melded stylistics from all Asian countries, lending to a feeling of universality. "When the Chinese see it, they think it's Japanese or Korean. With the Japanese it's Korean or Chinese, and Koreans, because we know our culture, think it's Japanese or Chinese".

"We knew we were not striving for a world of reality", Osborne said. "In our film, it was important for us to convince you that you were in a fable".

Sadly, we do not have that 8 minute clip but there are four character posters after the break. That's gotta count for something. We're less than a couple months away from the December 3rd release date down in the States.
