Gore Verbinski And Johnny Depp Together Again In RANGO
They've traded pirates for lizards but Johnny Depp and Gore Verbinski are together again for animated feature Rango.
The first teaser for Verbinski's first stab at animation was a surreal, almost Dali-esque bit that featured nothing but a wind up toy fish floating over the desert but now a real trailer has arrived. And it's an interesting one. The tone and style is quite different from any of the big animation players right now and while I'm not quite convinced it's going to hit Pixar levels - though it may - it certainly looks to be above Dreamworks and about equal to Blue Sky. Nice.
