Say what you will about the recent implementation of a ratings system in Thailand - and a lot of people have been saying a lot of (mostly negative) things about it - but it has definitely helped a few films. Films such as action-drama In The Shadow Of The Naga (aka Nak Prok).
The story of bank robbers hiding out in a Buddhist monastery built over top of where they hid their loot years before, the film was completed more than two years ago but was unreleasable in Thailand before the advent of the ratings system, the portrayal of violence towards monks - not to mention criminals being ordained - blocking it from release. Ratings system in place, it is now due for release with a 20+ rating, meaning it's for adult eyes only. But adult eyes are better than no eyes and we've got the English subtitled trailer below.
