Hideo Nakata's FOREIGN FILMMAKERS' GUIDE TO HOLLYWOOD In Trailer Form!

You a foreign film maker looking to make it big in Hollywood without losing your soul in the process? Well then, Ringu director Hideo Nakata has a tale or two to tell. The Japanese director triggered the J-horror boom with his classic film and has met with great success both at home and abroad and, in the process, has apparently decided that there's a thing or two that he would've liked to know before making the transition. And so, giving fellow that he is, Nakata has created The Foregin Filmmakers' Guide To Hollywood, in which he tells his own stories while also presenting interviews with a stack of key players in the current remake boom, among them fellow director Takashi Shimizu and producer Roy Lee.

We first commented on this one back in January and now the trailer has arrived on the scene. Nakata's parts are not subtitled, unfortunately, as it is a trailer for the Japanese market, but a good number of the included interview segments were conducted in English so there's worthwhile stuff in there for everyone.
