Now Let me explain a recent new thing that has happened in Korea.
Kobis releases preliminary numbers on Mondays and then the final #'s are confirmed on Tuesdays. When the #'s are updated I will update this article also.
This is why some of the numbers do not look correct.
Well this sure was not a good week for new releases. Number 8 and 9 were new Korean films and it looks like both are bombs. #8 was supposed to be a Korean adult version of the classic story and it has not received many positive reviews.
Neither new USA film, #5 and #6 looks like it will do blockbuster business here in Korea.
The big surprises are still the #1 and #3 film. I did not expect much from either and #1 has broken 2 million tickets sold and looks like #3 will soon do at least 2 million tickets sold also.
