Karol, un uomo diventato Papa (Karol, the Man Who Became Pope)

Here's a film that is likely to gather a great deal of attention around the world. Directed by Giacomo Battiato this rather recent film retells the story of Pope John Paul II from his youth in Poland to his years in Rome. This is a massive international production (France, Poland, Germany, Canada, Italy) that will be released as a two part TV series and a 155min. theatrical version.
