Ricky Gervais Bringing Flanimals To Big Screen

Here's a surprisingly timely post considering Logboy just brought the man up ... Digital Spy is reporting that Ricky Gervais will be producing an animated film based on his book, Flanimals. Not only has Gervais been given the green light on this, but he's been given a hefty budget of fifty million pounds.

Now, I'm sure Logboy will correct me if I'm wrong on this, but I flipped through a copy of the book a few weeks ago and I didn't really spot anything reminiscent of a plot ... it looked more like a catalog of imaginary animals so I have absolutely no idea what sort of story line this thing would follow ...
