Tomorrow RLJ Films will release a DVD/BD SteelBook of Fritz Kiersch's 1984 horror flick Children of the Corn, just in time for the film's 35th anniversary.
Adapted from the short story of the same name by Stephen King, the adaptation by screenwriter George Goldsmith starred Linda Hamilton, Peter Horton and Cortney Gains
In CHILDREN OF THE CORN, a young couple find themselves stranded in the rural town of Gatlin, Neb., where they encounter a mysterious religious sect of children. But nowhere in town are there any adults. The horror grows to a bloodcurdling climax as the two new visitors learn the horrifying secret behind the prospering cornfields.
