True story. In my final year of high school I went on a missions trip during spring break to Tijuana, Mexico. We went into the burroughs and we built a house for a family in need. You know. the good stuff. Then before we left Mexico we did a little cross border shopping, and pretty much every one of us bought a knife with any varying degree of leathilty to it and 'smuggled' them across the border. In our bags. In our shorts. I put mine in my shoe and hobbled across the border like there was nothing wrong; every young man from Canada has a limp. We were not mastermind smugglers. 

I tell you that story to tell you that sometimes we willingly do stupid things when hopping from one country to the next. Other times, they are forced upon us like a bad dream. Case in point, Daniel Zirilli's upcoming action flick Crossing Point. We have your exclusive look at the trailer for it below. 

Michael and Olivia are a young American couple vacationing in Baja. Their romantic idyll takes a harrowing turn when Olivia is kidnapped by a drug dealer, who demands that Michael smuggle a backpack full of cocaine -- stolen from a rival cartel -- over the border into the U.S. within 12 hours or else Olivia will be killed. As Michael navigates the treacherous Mexican underworld, he becomes a force to be reckoned with.
