Michael Ciulla's indie thriller Blue Jay is now wrapping post production and with festival plans bubbling away for a premiere hopefully to come soon the first trailer has arrived online.

A couple hiking Mount Whitney is discovered by a group of mountain men who develop a dark obsession with the young woman.

Survival thrillers have remained a staple for the simple reason that they pair strong character dynamics with some often gorgeous imagery and Ciulla certainly appears to be gunning hard for both of those elements. The cast looks strong and the environment imposing. Take a look below.
