Hey, Toronto! Here's a little something fun for you! Kris Elgstrand's quirky, TIFF selected musical comedy
Songs She Wrote About People She Knows begins its public release today in Vancouver before heading to Toronto's Carlton Cinemas on May 1st, where Elgstrand will be on hand to take your questions before moving along to the Imperial Pub post-screening for a bit of madness. What sort of madness? Well, Elgstrand will be on hand to perform songs from the film live while also hosting some sort of quasi-karaoke event inviting members of the public - yes, that'd be you - to sing your own songs about people you know. Which sounds a little bit daft and a whole lot of fun.
Want to go? Easy! We've got five double passes to give away! And all you've got to do to claim a pair of tickets is
email me here saying "I want to sing a song I wrote about a person I know!" Simple, yes? Now have at it!
