THE HORSEMAN Director Takes A Visit To The BLOODLANDS

Founder and Editor; Toronto, Canada (@AnarchistTodd)
Things have been quiet since 2009 for Australian writer-director Steven Kasrissios. It was back in 2008 that his gritty, intense debut The Horseman turned heads around the world and though he's been hard at work developing other concepts since none have yet found traction in his native Australia. And so he went to Albania instead and returns now with new horror effort Bloodlands.

Tapping into the regional history of blood feuds - violent clashes between families that can span generations - the tale revolves around a family being attacked by a violent mountain clan with established local actors Gëzim Rudi, Ilire Vinca Çelaj and Suela Bako anchoring a cast that also includes newcomers Emiljano Palali and Alesia Xhemalaj.

Further details are being kept largely under wraps but with the film now in post production we've got the first image to share below. Take a look and remember you can click to enlarge.
