Edgar Wright's third go-around with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, The World's End, had its official World Premiere in London's Empire Leicester Square cinema tonight and I had the good fortune to be among a small group of online journalists invited out to cover it. The lot of us landed at Heathrow yesterday morning and were taken out to the actual World's End pub in Camden by Wright himself before hitting the actual premiere today. And though we've been asked to hold our reviews until closer to the US release - Hint: I agree with the positive reviews already out there in other sources - I did manage to secure a spot in the photographer's bay of the red carpet (which was actually blue) and snap a load of shots.

Check the gallery below for a taste of The World's End world premiere in photos.

Wise words to live by at the World's End Pub in Camden.

Rosamund Pike. Good Lord...

He is, indeed. Was super friendly, too. Chatted with him for a while after the screening.

The local press went absolutely NUTS for her. It was pretty crazy being in the photo area surrounded by photographers SCREAMING at her to hit different poses. They kept at it for a good five minutes after she told them she was done with photos and went to sign stuff for fans, instead, and were so focused they almost missed Considine entirely ...

Look at the faces of the men watching her, as opposed to the faces of the women watching her. Hilarious!
