HBO Reveals First Look at Stephen Merchant's HELLO LADIES
Ah, Smerch. Otherwise known as Stephen Merchant, co-creator of The Office, Extras, An Idiot Abroad and many other projects with Ricky Gervais, Karl Pilkington, Warwick Davis and other collaborators. He's also known as the voice of Wheatley in Portal 2, a radio announcer on the BBC, and most recently as a stand-up comedian touring his one man show Hello Ladies

Now that show has been turned into a HBO series which follows Merchant as an awkward, overly confident Englishman trying to date in Los Angeles -- where his attempts to infiltrate the world of beautiful people are not successful.

Check out the first teaser for Hello Ladies below.

I assume you've seen this?

Yup. Extras is my favorite thing Gervais has done, largely because of moments like this. And the Bowie episode.
